FAMILY OWNED - THREE GENERATIONS

We are a third-generation garage door company based in Lewiston, Idaho. The business was originally founded in 1968 by Bob and Jeanette Dickeson and has operated from its current location since 1977. Their son, Tod, took over the business in May of 1995, and his son, Tanner, now owns Bob’s Garage Doors as of January of 2026. This family-owned operation has consistently grown by providing high-quality products and services at a fair price and standing behind the work they do.

Tanner took over the business after serving in the United States Air Force for over 7 years, where he provided base defense security across Europe. Currently, he is also completing his Master's degree at the University of Idaho. He and his wife Lakia, also from Lewiston, have two daughters with a third on the way.

The family is very active with local organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Jackson's Pay it Forward Foundation, Potlatch Number 1 Federal Credit Union, and Community on Call. The family is proud to be involved with this community and enjoys being a part of a great organizations that give back.
