We are seeking dedicated and reliable Garage Door Technicians to join our team at Bob’s Garage Doors. Experience in construction-related fields is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot garage door systems effectively. The technician will work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting $20.00 - $27.00 hourly

Location: On Site

​Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers

  • Diagnose issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions

  • Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation

  • Safely use tools and equipment while following industry standards

  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations

  • Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of garage door components during installations and repairs

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving ability

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds

  • Experience in construction fields is advantageous

  • Skills in fabricating parts or components for custom installations are desirable

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude

  • Valid driver’s license required for travel between job sites

  • Reliable, punctual, and positive team player
